The world was moving at a frantic pace, a blur of digital notifications and hurried schedules. We felt a collective yearning for a place to slow down, to catch our breath, and to simply be. The dream was to build that place—a haven where time could be measured not in minutes, but in conversations, in chapters read, and in moments of quiet reflection.
Over the years, that idea took root and began to grow, nurtured by passion and a deep belief in the power of shared spaces. In 2026, that dream became a reality when we finally opened our doors—bringing to life the space we had envisioned for so long. Lizzy’s Coffee is not just a coffee shop; it is a place to unwind, to connect, and to simply be.

We scouted for the perfect location, a space with character and soul that could become the physical embodiment of our vision. We found it in a beautiful but neglected corner building in Noordheuwel.
The renovation was all about creating a warm, cozi and welcoming space to enjoy great coffee. We put our energy into making sure every detail—from the layout to the counter—felt inviting and practical for daily visits. Every decision, from the placement of tables to how we set up the menu, was made to help serve you quickly and comfortably, always with a focus on brewing the best cup and providing sincere, friendly service.
